With Boer&Bunder, Dacom has established a successful concept in the agricultural sector that makes open data accessible and easily available for the entire industry. Boer&Bunder data is widely used to make better decisions for farm management. However, the current data is rather static, whereas the daily reality for farmers is highly dynamic.
By integrating weather forecasts (future), weather data (historical measurements), and calculation rules regarding fungal diseases, we aim to provide farmers with easily accessible information about the weather and fungal disease pressure on the map and at the field level. The principle is that the farmer doesn't need to input anything to obtain advice. Algorithms for calculating disease pressure for various fungal diseases have already been developed by Dacom in the past.
